▣ Introduction
CL-AR3000 is the new generation and advanced professional receiver fully complied with the baseline technologies of the ATSC3.0 physical layer standards (A/321, A322). With future terrestrial broadcasting needs, it provides high performance and reliability for broadcast testers to perform field and performance testing.
CL-AR3000 has been designed as a 1-RU rack that input interface, FPGA hardware and RF module are compressed. It also supports high speed FPGA configuration and software loading. These provide the ability to react quickly to ATSC3.0 terrestrial TV standard changed and evolved.
With friendly MFC-based Graphical User Interface, L1 signaling parameters based on ATSC3.0 standard can be monitored up to 8 PLPs and the frequency & Time response, MER and Spectrum are displayed. Specially, it provides the plots of two constellations with consideration for LDM adopted in the ATSC3.0 standard.
The receiver was verified and shown through correct operation of reception by attending three V&V Plugfests in collaboration with ETRI and the stability of equipment was guaranteed by performing successful field test in Korea.
